The Wildish Companies supply premier quality rock products in the Lane County, Oregon market area, and provide integrated general construction contracting services throughout the Pacific Northwest. Based in Eugene, Oregon since 1935, their award winning family-owned business serves satisfied customers ranging from those who need a pickup load of gravel for a do-it-yourself job, to owners of complex, multi-million dollar facilities.

Wildish chose for its mechanical design, a series of rooftop gas-fired package units in order to save construction costs. However, they also wanted individual zone control for a large number of offices and work spaces. Reliable Controls provided the perfect system to meet these specific project demands.

For Wildish, and all of our clients, we provide complete control system design, architecture, layout, wiring, job material lists, as well as controller wiring diagrams and mnemonics. We use state of the art, clear and easy to read CAD drawings for all project descriptions, so that end users from General Contractors, sub-contractors, and facilities managers have complete and up to date information. The details of every project from valve sizes to control system layouts are important parts of project development at EBT. We pride ourselves in making sure that these details are painstakingly reviewed until every possible question is answered.

Retirement

Capitol Manor is a fully accredited Continuing Care Retirement Community, and the choice for three generations of discriminating families. With so many lifestyles and options, it's easy to see why Capital Manor chose EBT to provide environmental controls: they have to ensure comfortable retirement living. Capital Manor provides top-quality services, amenities and residences for seniors; from independent living in homes or apartments to their fully state licensed Residential Care Center (Manor Care). They must have quality environmental care. EBT was chosen from among several vendors because we provided the most comprehensive design solution for comfort controls, as well as the ability to get the project done quickly and with minimal interruption to normal building operation.

College

Oregon Coast Community College was created by public vote in 1987 to serve the educational needs of the residents of Lincoln County. Dedicated to meet that commitment, OCCC provides quality learning opportunities broadened to include college transfer, professional/ technical, and workforce-related courses. This means boilers, fin-tube heaters, heat recovery units, dampers, fans, and pumps that all had to be controlled at varying time schedules and rugged coastal weather and temperatures.

Therefore, with three new campus' going in, all with aggressive time-lines, the General Contractor needed to be sure that the building controls would be dependable, with long life spans, installed quickly, and provide ease of maintenance and service. In addition, control graphics interfaces were particularly important because the facilities manager needs to be able to inspect the facility status at all three campus' without wasting gas and time driving to each location. This was solved using the versatile RC-Studio software. The managers can check any campus from any other campus and review and change detailed system information without having to leave their office. We are able to maintain space temperatures within on tenth of a degree faenheit. More importantly the control logic does not over work valve and damper actuators due to smooth and precise PID loop programming.

Manufacturing

Precision Cast Parts is distinguished by preeminent leadership in the markets it serves, the high degree of proprietary technology and technical expertise inherent in its product lines, outstanding management of complex manufacturing processes, and close attention to the creation of shareholder value. The last thing PCC needed was to retrofit their high power environmental management systems and have those systems cause loss of production,poor quality, or distracted company employees.

With the plant in full production mode and ramp up, EBT got in and got out without any affect to the operation of a busy manufacturing facility. Critical to the project was the injection wax molding unit that is used in the manufacturing of industrial titanium components. It requires precise environmental temperature and humidity control. Loss of environmental control will cause failure of a wax mold due to unexpected material expansion. The result would be millions of dollars in lost projection. Federal

The Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center is a primary care clinic that is dedicated to providing quality healthcare to all eligible Native Americans in the Warm Springs Service Unit Area. As part of that dedication, the Warm Springs Health and Wellness Clinic (WSC) provides medical, dental, optometry pharmacy, nutrition, public health nursing, laboratory and radiology services. In addition, they also offer a specialty clinic in the fields of cardiology, rheumatology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, audiology, podiatry, renal, endodontics, oral surgery, ultrasound and ENT (ears, nose and throat).

Employing 113 individuals, Civil and Commissioned Corp, receiving 5,295 patients resulting in 59,010 visits per year, and with the ever growing patient population, WSC is currently in the process of expanding their service unit.Essential Building Technologies has maintained a close relationship with the WSC staff. Our ability to deliver prompt effective service to this remote location was a major factor in the award of the project to Essential Building Technologies.

Reliable Controls assisted in the design of the V.V.T. controls without compromising ease of use or comfort control. Systems of this type often leave one room constantly hot or cold while serving the "majority" of zones calling for heat or cooling. With Reliable Controls, these issues are minimized through custom programming that quickly responds to comfort needs.

County

The Maintenance Division for Washington County, Oregon handles everything to run this large and active region. Therefore, WaCo is a large and busy arm of county government in an area of the US where business and government work together to better their community. With automatic control systems for administrative campus', juvenile and adult holding facilities, courthouses, police and fire stations, library, and maintenance buildings, the WaCo general facilities manager does not have time to worry about environmental controls. He leaves it to EBT. EBT has a close personal relationship with WaCo's managers and staff. We work hard to ensure that they have materials, controllers, software, and hardware ahead of plan. EBT provides programming and design support. We also provide excellent return on investment through rugged, reliable, and long-lived equipment and knowledge based support.
